Lighting
Microstructuring and texturing for lighting industry
Our services
Microrelleus offers femtosecond laser engraving of free-form microstructures, micro-optics or textures on standard production tools or prototypes for lighting parts.
Microstructuring on Production tool
We can engrave high-quality surface finishing free-form microstructures that are absolutely burr-free, with tolerances in the range of microns, perfectly defined and with very sharp edges on standard production tools.

Controlled light diffusion by micro-texturing the production tool
Meet our Microscatt® technology! We can texturize production tools to control the light scattering on the injected part, eliminate hot spot and diffuse the light both in circular and elliptical formats on any 3D shape in tool inserts up to 1200kg.
PMMA/PC prototypes texturing and microstructuring
Thanks to the “cold ablation” of the femtosecond laser we can engrave over any material. That is why we can engrave microstructures on prototypes or imitate standard roughness in automotive market like VDI.

Micro-optics
The smallest radius we can work with the femtosecond laser is R0.007mm. We can engrave free-form micro-optics on production tools for any purpose.
Possibilities & benefits
Some of the possibilities are spreading or diffusing light with attractive surface patterns, collimating light for greater intensity, controlling light scattering, invisible structures for light curtains or creating free-form micro-optics.
Benefits? Reduction of space installation, increased efficiency, low power consumption, innovative signatures, less material injected, slim and thin optical designs or obtaining lightweight parts, among others.
Quality Control
We use confocal and focus variation microscopes to analyze results and ensure we obtain desired tolerances.
R&D
R&D is inherent in our company and a significant part of our DNA. We invest internally in R&D to be able to deliver new opportunities like Microscatt®. We also provide R&D services for customers and participate in funded R&D programs – also with key stakeholders of the industry - to increase our knowledge and capabilities.
Photometry
Laboratory
In our photometry laboratory we can analyze the diffusion of the light when inciding on the textures or microstructures.
